On Set and On Point is a series of live online masterclasses for emerging artists, established actors, and stage parents (parents of child actors ) tailored to you and your needs. In these masterclasses tailored specifically to where you are in your (or your child’s career,) I’ll dive into the important topics to give you the tools you need to thrive as an actor in the TV and film, as well as answer your questions. All workshops are currently held virtually to give you (and me) more flexibility.

How do I get my child into acting? What’s a breakdown? How do I self-tape? What even is a self-tape??? Are you feeling overwhelmed and confused about how to kickstart your child’s acting career? You’re not alone. I meet many parents who find themselves in the same boat, feeling like they’ve been thrown into the deep end of the entertainment industry without a life raft. Don’t worry – I’m here to help you!

The On Set and On Point: Stage Parents Masterclass is designed to give you with the knowledge you need to confidently navigate the entertainment industry for your budding actor – even if you’re starting from scratch! 

What will we cover in this masterclass?

This industry can be overwhelming and intimidating, so we’ll go over all the essentials that you need to know in simple language, so that you’re not feeling lost and confused. 

We’ll cover important topics to best support your child’s acting journey, such as:

  • How to get started from 0
  • Understanding the role of agents and how to land one
  • Professional headshots
  • Managing auditions
  • Red flags to look out for
  • And so much more!

Whether you’re a complete novice or have some experience in the industry, this masterclass will provide you with practical tips and insider knowledge to help you and your child succeed. Register now and become an informed and proactive stage parent, ready to guide your child towards their dreams!

Cost: $200
Instalments (optional): 50% of payment (sent by Interac e-transfer) is due upon registration to secure your spot. Balance is due 48 hours before your masterclass date.
Duration: 3 hours, including time for Q&A

If you or your child requires a receipt for tax purposes, please add GST + QST to your e-transfer and send me an email to let me know. Your receipt will be issued after your scheduled session. 

In the event that you will be unable to attend your scheduled session, you can apply your deposit/payment to the next available session, or transfer it to someone else. No refunds will be issued.

This advanced masterclass is designed for those of you who have already taken my level I masterclass, or who feel like they already have a solid grasp on the basics on the entertainment industry for your child actor. In level II, we dive even deeper into navigating this industry for your budding star. Because let’s face it – the life of a working child actor – and their parents – has its own set of challenges!
