First Monday of February. 7 weeks since my last anaphylactic reaction. Finally starting to feel more like myself again. FINALLY. Slowly but surely.

Thank you all for your messages, calls, check-ins, food deliveries, and more. It means the world to me. I owe a lot of people responses, and I promise to get back to you all very soon ☺️

Some of you may know me IRL, some as an actor, others from the luxury travel world, and some just from here on social media. We all contain multitudes, which means that there’s always more to discover about the people we know. Don’t be surprised when I start sharing things outside of what you’re used to 😉 My niche is me and all my multitudes, so look out for me talking more about acting, travel, health, baking, mindset, crafting, and who knows what else lol

I encourage you all to lean into all the parts of you. Give them love. Give them light. Nurture them. Share them with the world. If that means the next time I see you, you have to reintroduce yourself—well that’s just lovely 🩷

Hollywood said to “survive until 2025” and I guess my body took that literally with my recent scary anaphylactic reaction. But I’m alive for 2025 and so so grateful to be here! Very excited to see what I can make of this upcoming year - I’ve got big plans 🙌🏽✨

The audio may be silly and whimsical, but anaphylactic reactions are no laughing matter. Thanks to shots from TWO EpiPens, I’M OKAY and still here. But this week, I had the most terrifying near-death experience, and I’m just so grateful to be alive. I keep thanking my mom for saving my life 🥺 To go from never having an anaphylactic allergic reaction to having TWO anaphylactic reactions in less than 4 months is a terrifying experience. (Don’t worry, nobody thought of filming anything until I was deemed stable enough. Grateful to my mom for documenting this.)

Both cases of anaphylaxis were different in every way - the allergen that triggered it, how the reaction manifested, the actions I took, and most importantly and most scary: the SPEED at which the reaction onset. The first reaction was prolonged and increased in intensity, while this last one came on suddenly, fast and hard - mere minutes between exposure and gasping for air - that’s how quickly a reaction can turn fatal. Thankfully I had an EpiPen on me, and we had a second one handy - those two EpiPens (and my fast-acting parents) literally saved my life.

I share this not for pity, but to raise awareness - through discussing with so many of you with and without allergies after my first reaction a few months ago, I’ve discovered that most us don’t actually know when we need to administer an EpiPen (it’s way sooner than you think, and those seconds of deliberation could be deadly.)

Once again, I’m okay now, and am resting at home. Once I’ve had some time to recover, I’ll share more about what happened and share some knowledge that could help us all save a life when it comes to allergies. Allergic reactions can be triggered out of the blue, even, like in my case, for things that have never triggered an allergic reaction before. If you have an allergy that requires an EpiPen, make sure it’s still good, and speak to your doctor about getting a prescription for more than one. More to come soon. Until then, 🩷 T
